Marcus Montana, known in the music world as TRU-SERVA, is a passionate artist with a mission: to help others find true life. Growing up in a single-parent home in Lacombe, Louisiana, near New Orleans, he faced many challenges. With his mom working two jobs, Marcus had to grow up fast, navigating a materialistic society that left him feeling empty despite chasing self-satisfaction.

At age 16, exhausted by this emptiness, Marcus encountered Christ and committed to a personal relationship with Jesus. Inspired by this life-changing moment, he chose to use his hip-hop talents to spread a message of hope and transformation. Hip-hop shaped his style, language, and attitude, making it the perfect way to reach people.

Through his powerful lyrics, TRU-SERVA shares the message of the cross and positive change, offering hope to many. He challenges negative stereotypes and wants to connect generations, encouraging everyone to break down walls and actively live out their faith.
